Where do you work?
Athens, Greece
Describe what you do.
Working under the Greek Evangelical Church of Athens, we serve the poor and refugees in our community by providing for their physical and Spiritual needs.
Why did you choose your ministry? What led you to that ministry?
God directed us to it as he already had placed in our hearts care and compassion for people who live in the shadows of society. God used an individual who challenged me that God could use my gifts and talents in Greece. I joined a mission organization, raised ministry partners, moved to Greece, and let God lead us to where we are now.
When did you make the decision to serve in missions - how old were you?
I committed to the call in 1987 and went to Greece in 1996. So I was 39 years old.
Why did you decide on serving in this way? Why missions?
When Jesus transformed my life in 1978, my reaction was, “Lord, I want to serve you in a full-time way.” Years passed, and when someone challenged me about missions, it sparked my original commitment. My motivation was having the privilege of being part of God’s global work
