Where do you work?
We are based in Lima, Peru, but we work all throughout Latin America.
Describe what you do.
We are mobilizing the Latin American Church to participate in the Great Commission
Why did you choose your ministry? What led you to that ministry?
I was actually planning to plant a church in the Andes Mountains of Peru among an Unreached people group. But then God opened my eyes to a more strategic role of raising up, training, equipping, and connecting hundreds of church planters all around the world.
When did you make the decision to serve in missions - how old were you?
I was 19 when I determined that I would be involved in missions to some degree. I had much to learn yet though.
Why did you decide on serving in this way? Why missions?
To me, it just made sense. I could not understand why so much time, effort and resources were being spent on trying to evangelize people who have access to the gospel, maybe even have heard it, but have rejected it, while 1/3 of the world’s population does not have access to the gospel at all. If they wanted to hear the gospel and had questions, there are no believers there to share with them. This was unfair, and I wanted my life to count for the 1/3 who had yet to hear the gospel.
Have you had other occupations?
I was a Marketing Manager for Two divisions of a leading tabletop/crystal/fine china/giftware company for 11 years.
Hobbies or other interests?
I love to golf, though I usually only go once a year. I enjoy snorkeling, and went scuba diving for the first time. I am a musician (bass guitar) and like to play and sing. I also enjoy acting in theatre, and do two separate dramatic monologues on missionary pioneers William Carey and Adoniram Judson. I love to cook and experiment with new things to make.
Your favorite sport? Favorite team?
